    Delegates are required to have previously completed the Emergency Lighting Part 1: Design course.


    Aims

    This 1-day course enables delegates to further develop the knowledge and skills learnt from the Emergency Lighting Part 1 course, including servicing & maintenance of the emergency lighting system. Delegates will learn to audit existing systems, provide advice on routine maintenance and to carry out periodic and remedial servicing. The course is based on BS 5266­1 a guidebook for emergency lighting.

    This course is aimed at engineers with a basic knowledge of safety systems who want to improve their knowledge of requirements and techniques required to be able to test, maintain and repair emergency lighting systems. The course is also aimed at engineers who are responsible for emergency lighting systems, wanting to be able to assess and demonstrate the suitability and condition of the system for specific sites.
